Yahoo, we are finally fishing!

Fishing Reports

Man oh man were we looking forward to the boat being finished, and the time had finally come for us to go and do what we do best, and that is FISH -and fish we did!

The first night we went out with a few friends, Kevin and his family, young Luke really wanted to catch a tarpon so that is what we tried to do. He was connected to a big one for a short while, but they don’t get that big by being stupid and we lost it when it swam under a sailboat and cut us off on it’s keel.

The next day we had the lads from Houston on the boat and after some trolling we decided to do some wreck fishing- it paid off big when we caught a few nice cobia on one of the shallow wrecks -photo’s on the website .

We returned the next day to the same wreck hoping to put a hurting on the cobia and found that they had moved on but we did catch a couple of really nice black grouper, which I’m sure provided a great meal for the anglers that caught them.

Since then the fishing has slowed down, but yesterday we did well when we caught and released 2 sharks in the deep. Luckily we are fishing again tomorrow… I have aquired a new camera and will be posting great shots of the days catches.

Once again, hope you northerners are bundling up good because I hear it is still freezing there ! If you need to thaw out a little bit come and see us here at OUTER LIMIT SPORTFISHING where we will show you a good time, and hopefully catch you the fish of a lifetme.
