Second report
Well guys, we finally got the engines done and took the boat on it’s first sea trial- and I’m happy to say that everything went exceptionally well .Now we can concentrate on the rest of the interior and it won’t be long until we are at the dock (Bahia Mar Yacht Centre) and ready for our first guests. I’m sure we will celebrate in style when we get started and hope the fish cooperate too.
What I hear is that there are some fish around ,with big king mackerel ,bonita’s (false albacore to our friends up north) a small showing of sailfish and a good push of sharks coming through. The snappers where biting last night in the shallows and some friends of mine limited out on yellowtail and mutton snappers that were really out and feeding.
One of my previous clients Roger was out today trying to continiue his lucky streak on the Big Game -my previous “ride”and of press time didn’t know if they did well or not. Being out on the water myself today was great -what a beautiful day it was…sorry to the fisherman and fishing gals from up north that are in the grips of old man winter!
